Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Liu Wei was auctioned at Sothebys in Beijing in June 2015. The price achieved of CNY 4,130,000.00 (€ 597,246.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CNY 3,500,000.00 – 4,500,000.00. Admittedly, works by Liu Wei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Revolutionary Family Series (Triptych) in April 2016 with an auction result of HKD 38,840,000.00 (€ 4,375,907.70).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Liu Wei kam im Juni 2015 bei Sothebys in Beijing zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CNY 4.130.000,00 (€ 597.246,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CNY 3.500.000,00 – 4.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Liu Wei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Revolutionary Family Series (Triptych) im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 38.840.000,00 (€ 4.375.907,70).
