The work Little Girl with Balloons by Liu Ye was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in December last year. It achieved a price of HKD 66,300.00 (€ 7,945.09), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 47%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Liu Ye achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Smoke in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 52,182,000.00 (€ 5,964,325.41).

Die Arbeit Little Girl with Balloons von Liu Ye kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 66.300,00 (€ 7.945,09) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 47%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Liu Ye erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Smoke im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 52.182.000,00 (€ 5.964.325,41).
