Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Curious Rock Down To The Path by Long Chin-San was sold in the Moments of Flash auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,754.47) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Long Chin-San have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mountain Huang in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 95,904.08).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit Curious Rock Down To The Path von Long Chin-San wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Moments of Flash bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.754,47) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Long Chin-San auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mountain Huang im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 95.904,08).
