This artwork by Long Chin-San achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. In the Moments of Flash auction, the work Mr. Zhang Daqian, The Artist sold for HKD 500,000.00 (€ 59,017.90) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Long Chin-San; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Mountain Huang sold at auction in April 2017 with the realized price of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 95,904.08).

Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Long Chin-San erzielte im April 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Moments of Flash wurde die Arbeit Mr. Zhang Daqian, The Artist für HKD 500.000,00 (€ 59.017,90) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 250.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Long Chin-San; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Mountain Huang im April 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 95.904,08).
