Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Shelter In The Valley by Long Chin-San was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 125,000.00 (€ 14,754.47) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Long Chin-San have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mountain Huang in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 812,500.00 (€ 95,904.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Shelter In The Valley von Long Chin-San kam im April 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 125.000,00 (€ 14.754,47) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Long Chin-San auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mountain Huang im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 812.500,00 (€ 95.904,08).
