Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Moments of Flash, which included the work Trees On The Peaks by Long Chin-San. The price achieved of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 29,508.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Long Chin-San - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mountain Huang, which sold at auction in April 2017 for HKD 812,500.00 (€ 95,904.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Moments of Flash durch, in der auch die Arbeit Trees On The Peaks von Long Chin-San zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 29.508,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Long Chin-San mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mountain Huang beobachtet, die im April 2017 für HKD 812.500,00 (€ 95.904,08) versteigert wurde.
