Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Julie Abrahams, The Artist'S Daughter by Louis Abrahams was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2017, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 875.00 (€ 984.68). Admittedly, works by Louis Abrahams have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Sketchbook Including Figure Studies, Portraits, Académies, Caricatures, Animals, Putti, And Landscapes in December 2017 with an auction result of GBP 4,375.00 (€ 4,923.42).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Julie Abrahams, The Artist'S Daughter von Louis Abrahams im Dezember 2017 bei Christies in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 875,00 (€ 984,68) den Besitzer.
