This artwork by Louis-Rémy Robert achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in May 2007. In the Photography auction, the work Laboratoire, Circa 1850-1851 sold for EUR 23,545.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Louis-Rémy Robert; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Henriette Robert, C.1850 sold at auction in May 2005 with the realized price of GBP 16,800.00 (€ 24,802.07).

In der Auktion Photography wurde die Arbeit Laboratoire, Circa 1850-1851 für EUR 23.545,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Louis-Rémy Robert; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Henriette Robert, C.1850 im Mai 2005 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 16.800,00 (€ 24.802,07).
