In December 2009 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Le pont by Louise Pickard. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 937.50 (€ 1,057.53), 34% above the upper estimate. With this result, Le pont is even the most expensive work of art by Louise Pickard that we have observed at auctions so far.
