In April 2013 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction SO Contemporary Asia (Hirsch), which included the work Capital Night by Lu Peng. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 106,250.00 (€ 10,400.69), 52% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Lu Peng; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Goldfishes sold at auction in March 2015 with the realized price of HKD 93,750.00 (€ 11,259.43).

Im April 2013 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion SO Contemporary Asia (Hirsch) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Capital Night von Lu Peng zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 10.400,69) und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Lu Peng; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Goldfishes im März 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 93.750,00 (€ 11.259,43).
