In October 2015 Artcurial held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Geta - 1961 by Luc Peire. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 11,700.00 67% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Luc Peire; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Alexandre sold at auction in April 2011 with the realized price of EUR 21,150.00.

Im Oktober 2015 führte Artcurial die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Geta - 1961 von Luc Peire zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 11.700,00 und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Luc Peire; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Alexandre im April 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 21.150,00.
