Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Luca Signorelli could be acquired at Sothebys in London in December 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master & British Paintings Evening Sale auction, the work Madonna And Child changed hands for GBP 146,500.00 (€ 176,216.78) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luca Signorelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Processional Banner: The Presentation In The Temple, which sold at auction in January 2012 for USD 818,500.00 (€ 627,058.91).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Luca Signorelli konnte im Dezember 2013 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Evening Sale wechselte die Arbeit Madonna And Child für GBP 146.500,00 (€ 176.216,78) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 250.000,00 – 350.000,00.
