Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2021 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters Evening Sale, which included the work The Massacre of the Innocents with the Adoration of the Shepherds and the Adoration of the Magi - panel from a predella by Luca Signorelli. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 125,000.00 (€ 149,098.78). Admittedly, works by Luca Signorelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Processional Banner: The Presentation In The Temple in January 2012 with an auction result of USD 818,500.00 (€ 627,058.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Massacre of the Innocents with the Adoration of the Shepherds and the Adoration of the Magi - panel from a predella von Luca Signorelli zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 125.000,00 (€ 149.098,78) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Luca Signorelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Processional Banner: The Presentation In The Temple im Januar 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 818.500,00 (€ 627.058,91).
