Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ludwig Deutsch could be acquired at Sothebys in London in June 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Important Works from the Najd Collection, Part II auction, the work A Refreshing Drink changed hands for GBP 118,750.00 (€ 130,782.54) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ludwig Deutsch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Tribute in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 4,298,400.00 (€ 4,985,835.73).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ludwig Deutsch konnte im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Important Works from the Najd Collection, Part II wechselte die Arbeit A Refreshing Drink für GBP 118.750,00 (€ 130.782,54) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200.000,00 – 300.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ludwig Deutsch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Tribute im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.298.400,00 (€ 4.985.835,73).
