Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers by Lui Shou-Kwan was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in December 2021. The price achieved of HKD 50,400.00 (€ 5,708.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Lui Shou-Kwan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Victoria Harbour After Rain in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 4,240,000.00 (€ 415,048.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers von Lui Shou-Kwan kam im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.400,00 (€ 5.708,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Lui Shou-Kwan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Victoria Harbour After Rain im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.240.000,00 (€ 415.048,60).
