This artwork by Luigi Ontani achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Milan in April 2014. In the Milan Modern and Contemporary auction, the work Belli N/M Busto = Pollo'Ck sold for EUR 33,800.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 18,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luigi Ontani - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ibridoli, which sold at auction in October 2007 for GBP 84,000.00 (€ 120,629.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Luigi Ontani erzielte im April 2014 bei Christies in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Milan Modern and Contemporary wurde die Arbeit Belli N/M Busto = Pollo'Ck für EUR 33.800,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 18.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Luigi Ontani mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ibridoli beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für GBP 84.000,00 (€ 120.629,53) versteigert wurde.
