Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Courtship by Luigi Pastega was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2004. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 13,145.00 (€ 10,313.04) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luigi Pastega - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An unplanned rest, which sold at auction in December 2005 for GBP 18,000.00 (€ 26,125.99).

Die Arbeit The Courtship von Luigi Pastega kam im Oktober 2004 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 13.145,00 (€ 10.313,04) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
