Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work L'osteria rosa dopo il temporale by Luigi Zago was auctioned at Il Ponte in December 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 800.00 – 900.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 750.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Luigi Zago - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Custozza, which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 1,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit L'osteria rosa dopo il temporale von Luigi Zago im Dezember 2021 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 800,00 – 900,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 750,00 den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Luigi Zago mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Custozza beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für EUR 1.800,00 versteigert wurde.
