Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bathing by Luo Zhongli was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. The price achieved of HKD 2,080,000.00 (€ 254,042.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,800,000.00 – 2,500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Luo Zhongli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spring Silkworms in November 2013 with an auction result of HKD 49,400,000.00 (€ 4,683,668.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bathing von Luo Zhongli wurde im November 2015 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 2.080.000,00 (€ 254.042,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.800.000,00 – 2.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Luo Zhongli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spring Silkworms im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 49.400.000,00 (€ 4.683.668,97).
