Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Jubilee IV by Lynn Chadwick was sold in the Modern British Art Evening Sale auction at Christies in London in June 2018. The price achieved of GBP 2,024,750.00 (€ 2,288,312.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,800,000.00 – 2,500,000.00. Other works by Lynn Chadwick have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November this year the work Jubilee IV was auctioned for USD 3,317,000.00 (€ 3,040,887.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Jubilee IV von Lynn Chadwick wurde im Juni 2018 in der Auktion Modern British Art Evening Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.024.750,00 (€ 2.288.312,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.800.000,00 – 2.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Lynn Chadwick konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November diesen Jahres die Arbeit Jubilee IV für USD 3.317.000,00 (€ 3.040.887,42) versteigert.
