THE SZE YUAN TANG COLLECTION OF CHINESE PAINTINGS 「思源堂」珍藏中國書畫 LOTS 356-360 思源堂主人何安達自上世紀六十年代初開始在香港生活，因鍾愛中國藝術，舉凡書畫、玉器、青銅、陶瓷等皆悉心蒐集，近半世紀而不倦，漸成大觀。本輯撿其珍藏馬駿作品五件，題材不一，品相完好，且均直接得自藝術家，以饗仝好。

Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Resting Monk by Ma Jun was sold in the Chinese Paintingsonline only auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in April 2019. The price achieved of HKD 6,375.00 (€ 725.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ma Jun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Summer in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 92,000.00 (€ 8,556.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Resting Monk von Ma Jun wurde im April 2019 in der Auktion Chinese Paintingsonline only bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 6.375,00 (€ 725,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ma Jun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Summer im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 92.000,00 (€ 8.556,60).
