Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Contemporary Ink, which included the work Young Monks by Ma Jun. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 6,106.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Ma Jun have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2014 the work Summer was auctioned for HKD 92,000.00 (€ 8,556.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink durch, in der auch die Arbeit Young Monks von Ma Jun zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 6.106,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Ma Jun konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2014 die Arbeit Summer für HKD 92.000,00 (€ 8.556,60) versteigert.
