Despite a disappointment, a good price for Malcolm Osborne

When the work The Gaekwad of Baroda (Sayajirao Gaekwad III, reg. 1875-1939), dated 1923 by Malcolm Osborne was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in May this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 229.50 (€ 267.02). Despite this disappointing result, The Gaekwad of Baroda (Sayajirao Gaekwad III, reg. 1875-1939), dated 1923 is the most expensive artwork by Malcolm Osborne that we have observed at auction so far.

Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Malcolm Osborne

Als die Arbeit The Gaekwad of Baroda (Sayajirao Gaekwad III, reg. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist The Gaekwad of Baroda (Sayajirao Gaekwad III, reg.
