The work Torse Féminin by Marcel Gimond was sold in the Arts Décoratifs du XXè Siècle auction at Christies in Paris in May 2006. The result of EUR 6,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marcel Gimond - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nu Debout, which sold at auction in May 2006 for EUR 19,800.00.

Die Arbeit Torse Féminin von Marcel Gimond wurde im Mai 2006 in der Auktion Arts Décoratifs du XXè Siècle bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 6.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Marcel Gimond mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nu Debout beobachtet, die im Mai 2006 für EUR 19.800,00 versteigert wurde.
