This artwork by Marco Dente achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in January 2021. In the Old Master Prints auction, the work Ancient Bas-Reliefs sold for GBP 2,125.00 (€ 2,403.08) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marco Dente achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Laocoön in January 2021 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,271.53).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Marco Dente erzielte im Januar 2021 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master Prints wurde die Arbeit Ancient Bas-Reliefs für GBP 2.125,00 (€ 2.403,08) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marco Dente erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Laocoön im Januar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.271,53).
