Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 700.00 – 900.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 750.00 (€ 787.72) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Margaret Tarrant have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Young Anglers in June 2001 with an auction result of GBP 3,407.50 (€ 5,660.54).
