In the Design & Design Art auction, the work Set of nine lights sold for USD 13,200.00 (€ 10,002.27) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marianne Brandt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aschenschale – Modell: MT 36. in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 50,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Marianne Brandt erzielte im Dezember 2006 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Design & Design Art wurde die Arbeit Set of nine lights für USD 13.200,00 (€ 10.002,27) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marianne Brandt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Aschenschale – Modell: MT 36. im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 50.000,00.
