In the The Ann & Gordon Getty Collection: Volume 2 |Old Master, 19th and 20th Century Paintings, Day Sale auction, the work Ballerine sold for USD 107,100.00 (€ 107,811.56) - well above the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marie Laurencin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Femme aux tulipes in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 602,500.00 (€ 462,181.65).
