Here, the upper estimate of USD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 88,200.00 (€ 88,785.99). Admittedly, works by Marie Laurencin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Femme aux tulipes in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 602,500.00 (€ 462,181.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Femme Aux Perles von Marie Laurencin wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion The Ann & Gordon Getty Collection: Volume 2 |Old Master, 19th and 20th Century Paintings, Day Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 88.200,00 (€ 88.785,99) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marie Laurencin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Femme aux tulipes im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 602.500,00 (€ 462.181,65).
