Auction result well in line with expectations
The work French la Recolte Des Dattes À Touggourt by Marie Aimee Eliane Lucas-Robiquet was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2012. The price achieved of GBP 34,850.00 (€ 42,742.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marie Aimee Eliane Lucas-Robiquet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French une Caravane Dans L'Oued-Biskra in April 2015 with an auction result of GBP 293,000.00 (€ 402,356.57).
