The work Transcend by Marina Cruz was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 118,750.00 (€ 11,258.82), 48% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Marina Cruz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blushed and Blemished in May last year with an auction result of HKD 630,000.00 (€ 74,794.52).

Die Arbeit Transcend von Marina Cruz wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 11.258,82) und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marina Cruz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blushed and Blemished im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 630.000,00 (€ 74.794,52).
