In the Selections from the Israel Museum, Jerusalem Sold to Benefit the Acquisitions Fund auction, the work Piccola Metopa sold for USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,967.76) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mario Negri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tutta una vita insieme in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 42,000.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Mario Negri erzielte im November 2018 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Selections from the Israel Museum, Jerusalem Sold to Benefit the Acquisitions Fund wurde die Arbeit Piccola Metopa für USD 5.625,00 (€ 4.967,76) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mario Negri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tutta una vita insieme im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 42.000,00.
