Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Christies in New York held the auction Selections from the Israel Museum, Jerusalem Sold to Benefit the Acquisitions Fund, which included the work Ricordo di una figura ancestrale by Mario Negri. It changed hands for a price of USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,071.71) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mario Negri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tutta una vita insieme in June 2018 with an auction result of EUR 42,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Selections from the Israel Museum, Jerusalem Sold to Benefit the Acquisitions Fund durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ricordo di una figura ancestrale von Mario Negri zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 6.875,00 (€ 6.071,71) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mario Negri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tutta una vita insieme im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 42.000,00.
