Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Bonhams held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Un Image Pour Un Saint Slave by Martin Bradley. The price achieved of GBP 3,570.00 (€ 4,061.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Martin Bradley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Abstract in July 2011 with an auction result of GBP 16,875.00 (€ 19,366.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Un Image Pour Un Saint Slave von Martin Bradley zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.570,00 (€ 4.061,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Martin Bradley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Abstract im Juli 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.875,00 (€ 19.366,59).
