Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Martin Bradley could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Collection of Amalia de Schulthess Online auction, the work Untitled, 1984 changed hands for USD 956.25 (€ 844.89) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Martin Bradley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstract in July 2011 with an auction result of GBP 16,875.00 (€ 19,366.59).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Martin Bradley konnte im Dezember 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Collection of Amalia de Schulthess Online wechselte die Arbeit Untitled, 1984 für USD 956,25 (€ 844,89) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Martin Bradley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abstract im Juli 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.875,00 (€ 19.366,59).
