Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Photographies, which included the work Wedding At The Synagoge In The Notre-Dame De Nazareth Street, Paris, France, 1977 by Martine Franck. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Martine Franck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Swimming Pool designed by Alain Capeilleres, Le Brusc, Var, France, 1976 in November last year with an auction result of EUR 13,860.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Photographies durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wedding At The Synagoge In The Notre-Dame De Nazareth Street, Paris, France, 1977 von Martine Franck zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Martine Franck auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Swimming Pool designed by Alain Capeilleres, Le Brusc, Var, France, 1976 im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.860,00.
