This artwork by Mary Fedden achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2016. In the Julian Trevelyan & Mary Fedden at Durham Wharf auction, the work Black Vase With Flowers sold for GBP 4,375.00 (€ 5,162.07) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mary Fedden achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Things in October 2008 with an auction result of GBP 103,250.00 (€ 131,606.71).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Mary Fedden erzielte im November 2016 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Julian Trevelyan & Mary Fedden at Durham Wharf wurde die Arbeit Black Vase With Flowers für GBP 4.375,00 (€ 5.162,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mary Fedden erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit My Things im Oktober 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 103.250,00 (€ 131.606,71).
