Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Bagpipe Player with his Lover by Master I. B. for GBP 750.00 (€ 894.59). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master Prints at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Master I. B. have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Saturn, from: The Seven Planets in July 2020 with an auction result of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,461.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Bagpipe Player with his Lover von Master I. B. für GBP 750,00 (€ 894,59) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Old Master Prints bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Master I. B. auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Saturn, from: The Seven Planets im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.461,70).
