Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Mat Collishaw could be acquired at Sothebys in London in September 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the This is Tomorrow: Works from the David Ross Collection auction, the work Dragon's Lair changed hands for GBP 11,970.00 (€ 13,927.26) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Other works by Mat Collishaw have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in March 2019 by the work Leda and the Swan at GBP 17,500.00 (€ 20,311.72).
