This work without title by Mathew Cerletty was sold in the Handpicked: 100 Works Selected by the Saatchi Gallery auction at Christies in New York in March 2017. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,931.76), 52% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mathew Cerletty - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Thank You, which sold at auction in October 2018 for GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,830.74).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 9.931,76) und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Mathew Cerletty mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Thank You beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für GBP 30.000,00 (€ 33.830,74) versteigert wurde.
