This artwork by Matías Sánchez achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in an online auction in April last year. In the Faces Places: Online Auction auction, the work Antes De La Nevada sold for HKD 151,200.00 (€ 18,281.18) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Matías Sánchez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Partisanos El Amuerzo (Painted In 2020) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 108,000.00 (€ 110,289.13).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Matías Sánchez erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Faces Places: Online Auction wurde die Arbeit Antes De La Nevada für HKD 151.200,00 (€ 18.281,18) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Matías Sánchez auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Partisanos El Amuerzo (Painted In 2020) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 108.000,00 (€ 110.289,13).
