Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2005 Christies in Paris held the auction Interieurs, which included the work La fôret brûlée by Maurice-Elie Sarthou. The price achieved of EUR 852.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Maurice-Elie Sarthou have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Quand Le Soir Descend in October 2017 with an auction result of EUR 7,280.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2005 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Interieurs durch, in der auch die Arbeit La fôret brûlée von Maurice-Elie Sarthou zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 852,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maurice-Elie Sarthou auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Quand Le Soir Descend im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 7.280,00.
