However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Max Rabes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Storytime, which sold at auction in October 2005 for USD 66,000.00 (€ 55,022.93).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 20.931,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Max Rabes mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Storytime beobachtet, die im Oktober 2005 für USD 66.000,00 (€ 55.022,93) versteigert wurde.
