The work Man Power by Max Kalish was sold in the American Art auction at Christies in New York in September 2015. It achieved a price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,637.16), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 53%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Max Kalish; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot 'Steelworker' sold at auction in September 2010 with the realized price of USD 50,000.00 (€ 36,762.00).
