Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2014 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist/Modern Day Sale, which included the work Notre-Dame Et Le Quai Saint-Michel by Maximilien Luce. It changed hands for a price of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 39,430.32) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Maximilien Luce achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Baigneuses à Saint-Tropez in May last year with an auction result of USD 4,527,000.00 (€ 4,218,618.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist/Modern Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Notre-Dame Et Le Quai Saint-Michel von Maximilien Luce zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 39.430,32) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Maximilien Luce erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Baigneuses à Saint-Tropez im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.527.000,00 (€ 4.218.618,95).
