Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape after Ni Zan by Mei Qing was sold in the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 441,000.00 (€ 53,320.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 380,000.00 – 480,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mei Qing have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Scenes Of Mt. Huang in October 2015 with an auction result of HKD 3,440,000.00 (€ 401,883.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape after Ni Zan von Mei Qing wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 441.000,00 (€ 53.320,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 380.000,00 – 480.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mei Qing auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Scenes Of Mt. Huang im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.440.000,00 (€ 401.883,72).
