Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2018 POLY held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II, which included the work Landscape by Mi Wanzhong. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 147,500.00 (€ 16,608.72), 23% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mi Wanzhong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landscape, which sold at auction in November 2005 for HKD 600,000.00 (€ 65,648.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2018 führte POLY die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Mi Wanzhong zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 147.500,00 (€ 16.608,72) und damit 23% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Mi Wanzhong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landscape beobachtet, die im November 2005 für HKD 600.000,00 (€ 65.648,85) versteigert wurde.
