Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work The 13th Light Dragoons: Review order by Michael-Angelo Hayes for GBP 500.00 (€ 622.98). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael-Angelo Hayes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work John Poyntz, 5th Earl Spencer (1835-1910) with the Ward Union Hunt, 1877. in July 2010 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 18,035.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The 13th Light Dragoons: Review order von Michael-Angelo Hayes für GBP 500,00 (€ 622,98) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael-Angelo Hayes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit John Poyntz, 5th Earl Spencer (1835-1910) with the Ward Union Hunt, 1877. im Juli 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 18.035,81).
