Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.167,50 (€ 2.525,11) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 45%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Ayrton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Arkville Minotaur im Juli 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 205.875,00 (€ 235.248,07).
