Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2017 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters Day Sale, which included the work Portrait of the artist, bust-length, in a gown and cap by Michael Dahl. The price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,763.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 10,000.00. Admittedly, works by Michael Dahl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Double Portrait Of A Lady And A Gentleman in December 2017 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 63,301.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2017 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of the artist, bust-length, in a gown and cap von Michael Dahl zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.763,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael Dahl auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Double Portrait Of A Lady And A Gentleman im Dezember 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 63.301,14).
